Riding a giraffee!

It was my first day riding a giraffe unicycle, woohoo! Definitely the
highlight of my day. The picture shows me and Matt both riding
giraffees; I am on one a little over 5 ft and Matt is on one just
under 4ft. I had the day off work but still ended up in my office
catching up on homework and sprucing up my resume. Special thanks to
Gary F. for taking the picture and letting us use both of his
giraffes. I can't wait try out our 6 ft giraffe Tanya hasn't let me
touch!

Garden Preparation

Worked at home in the office all day, only interrupted by dropping off
and picking up the Escape at the Ford dealership again. It is fixed
now and working better than ever!

In the afternoon I went and bought a 6 pack of everberries to fill in the bare spots in the strawberry patch. Planted them in the evening and cleaned up the raspberries as well. Both are looking great and we are hoping for a good crop this year. I have tomorrow and Friday off from work and I hope to break free for some trout fishing!

Playing Catch!

Spent most of the morning at the Ford dealership in Hudson getting my
Ford Escape worked on. Took a lot longer than I anticipated and now I
have to take it back tomorrow as it appears oil is leaking from the
valve cover somewhere. The time wasn't completely wasted though as I
figured out how I post to my personal blog with my iPhone. Later in
the evening Matt and I played some catch with the football and the
baseball. I cooked morel mushrooms and venison for dinner; tasted
excellent!

Off to the Races

5-15-2010 For the first time we went to the Cedar Lake Speedway to go watch Matthew and Makayla's Bus Driver Gina race! It was a lot of fun and next year we will plan further a head of time to get better parking and better seating!

Relaxation!

My dog Odie and I went up to do some mowing up north, and finally found a day that wasn't so windy it we could put the shed back up; which ironically enough blew over. i am still not sure if it is secure enough. I bought some extra braces to tie in the bottom to the side (the apparent weak point) but did have all the right tools to get the job done.
